Yam Yabasha | ים יבשה

The project “Yam-Yabasha” deals with dismantling the concept of border and redefining it. As social creatures, we constantly need real definitions to understand and perceive things that are not concrete. 

 

I am trying to examine the resemblance between two countries that are not share a border yet the Mediterranean sea, which separates them, also connects them and creates a visual and cultural similarity.

 

The photos are in a sense a mirror to our collective and individual cognitive borders and limitations.
