Desert People

 

The Bedouins ("dessert dweller" in Arabic) are an Arab ethno cultural group, who obtain a unique agricultural nomad lifestyle, distant from modern life.

 

I started my journey wondering around the streets of Rahat, looking to experience Bedouin life from up close and make a connection with the people.

 

I met Lafi Abu-Farah in his small grocery store in the commercial center. He has a wife and 15 children. He invited me to meet his family and offered me a glance in to Bedouin lifestyle and culture.
