The Park, 2014

Tel Aviv

In the summer of 2011, as a protest to the high cost of living, thousands of Israelis put up tents on the streets.

The protest was over by September' and people folded their tents and moved back home, but some tents were left behind.

Almost 4 years since, In the middle of a public park, next to Tel-Aviv's central train station, resides a homeless camp site.

By now, it seems that the camp site has become part of the urban landscape, its inhabitants part of the view and their invisible existence has become the norm.
